David’s story in 2 Samuel 11 and 12 shows how quickly sin can grow when we try to hide it instead of bringing it before God. Yet even after serious failure, genuine repentance is met with God’s forgiveness, though our choices may still carry lasting consequences.

In Luke 23, we see Jesus walking toward the cross with love, mercy, and forgiveness even as He is mocked and condemned. This sermon reminds us that Christ could have saved Himself, but He chose the cross so our sins could be taken away.
